About Free

(Pronounced “Frey”)

Free is fluent in Dutch and English.

Free has broad experience working in Belgium, Australia and The Netherlands, as well as providing mental health care to children and their families in deprived neighbourhoods of Bolivia. She has experience working in both psychiatric and outpatient settings internationally. This breadth of experience has developed her skills to work with people from different cultures and ethnic backgrounds. Her therapeutic approach includes tailoring aspects of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with a focus on Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT).

She wants to create a client centred, safe, collaborative and empathetic environment where clients can work towards achieving their goals at their own pace. Her aim is to help you to develop more insight into your concerns and symptoms, paying attention to both body and mind and empowering further confidence, personal growth and healing. 

She enjoys working with adults to help them navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, burn out, addiction, ADHD, stress and emotion regulation difficulties.
