Karen is a Provisional Psychologist who understands the importance of empathic, strengths-based support. She is passionate about helping clients navigate personal challenges, cultivate self-awareness, and find meaningful ways to understand their own personal circumstances.

Karen's approach to therapy is both person-centred and collaborative. She believes in fostering a compassionate, non-judgemental environment in which clients can safely explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Drawing on evidence-based models, such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed care. Karen tailors her treatment to suit each person's unique goals.

Karen understands that life challenges can stem from trauma, stress, emotional difficulties, or life transitions, which can sometimes feel overwhelming and isolating. She works with her clients to develop practical strategies for understanding and managing these difficulties. Karen aims to provide a warm and welcoming space for clients to share their concerns and collaborate on setting realistic, meaningful goals through various therapeutic frameworks to enact lasting positive change in their everyday lives.
