Letisha is a Clinical Psychologist with several years of experience in working in psychiatric and public hospitals and has worked in both in-patient and out-patient settings. She is also internationally trained in both CBT and psychodynamic therapeutic modalities and is trained to work with a variety of different concerns.
In her years of training Letisha worked closely with a number of NGO’s in the inner city of Johannesburg, providing therapy to refugees and asylum seekers – both adults and children. She also trained as a therapist in a multicultural environment and as such regards her cultural competence and ability to work with the cultural nuances of diverse population groups as her key strength.
Letisha has a warm, genuine and relaxed approach to therapy. She likes to integrate several therapeutic modalities to tailor your therapeutic experience to you. Her aim is to work collaboratively with you to understand the nature of your concerns and establish shared treatment to reduce symptoms and help you to find greater self-insight and personal growth in your healing journey. Letisha aims to help you develop the skills and confidence so you can handle your areas of concern moving forward. Ultimately, Letisha believes in using evidence-based approaches and building up her clients into the best version of themselves that they can be!
