About Stephanie

Stephanie’s aim is to assist clients in living a rich meaningful life by building skills and resources to cope with what life throws our way. She has experience in assisting clients in a range of situations, particularly those encountering difficulties associated with work due to physical injuries or symptoms associated with stress, anxiety and depression. She has experience with vocational and career counselling. Stephanie is able to assist people with identifying suitable vocational goals and work that would match their skills, experience and personality.

Her area of interest is working with psychological disorders within the workplace rehabilitation setting. Stephanie understands the system and how to achieve the best results for clients within the complexity of workers’ compensation. She has a good understanding of federal and state government departments in addition to private sector.

How Stephanie might support you

Stephanie has extensive experience working with a range of adults. She has worked with a wide range of mental health issues including trauma, mood disorders, personality disorders, anxiety, substance abuse, grief, pain disorders, sleep disorders and physical disabilities.

She draws upon a number of therapies. However, Stephanie predominantly uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
