Intellectual Property Statement

All content, materials, and resources provided by Northside Psychology Services Pty Ltd or NorthStar Academy (the “Provider") are protected by intellectual property rights owned by the Provider. These rights apply to all Provider training materials (“Provider Materials”) including but not limited to course documents, online modules, presentations, images, videos, graphics, and any proprietary methodologies or concepts shared during training.

Definition of Intellectual Property

Intellectual Property (IP) means statutory and other proprietary rights in respect of:

  1. patents, copyright including future copyright, registered designs, trademarks, and other forms of protected knowledge that reflect the unique expertise and proprietary knowledge developed by the Provider and all other rights in respect to intellectual property as defined in Article 2 of the Convention establishing the World Intellectual Property Organisation of July 1967; and
  2. any application or right to apply for registration of any of those rights.)

Restrictions on Use and Distribution

Participants may not copy, distribute, share, modify, or use Provider Materials for any purpose other than personal learning. Sharing, reproducing, or distributing any Provider Materials without the Provider’s prior written consent infringes the Provider’s intellectual property rights.

Legal Consequences of Unauthorized Use

Unauthorized use or distribution of the Provider Materials may result in legal action and financial damages. By engaging in this training, participants agree to respect the intellectual property rights of the Provider and acknowledge that any breach of these terms may result in termination of access to the Provider Materials and additional legal recourse.

Written Consent for Sharing Materials

If participants wish to use or share any part of the Provider Materials for other than personal use, they must obtain prior express written consent from the Provider, which the Provider may withhold in their discretion.
