Tia values learning, curiosity, and ‘realness.’ She knows the importance of creating a safe, non-judgemental, and supportive space for clients to process difficulties and work towards their goals. She has experience supporting her clients to cope with challenges including anxiety, stress, depression, emotional dysregulation, low self-esteem or confidence, and relationship difficulties. Tia has a background in both counselling and psychology, and seeks to helps her clients improve their wellbeing and make moves towards recovery and a fulfilling life. 

How Tia might support you

Often with a cup of tea close by, Tia aims to be warm, genuine, and works with her clients on what is important to them. She aims to listen without judging and draws on her client’s strengths. Tia is particularly interested in working with adolescents and young adults, and primarily works within a Cognitive Behavioural approach incorporating strategies from Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
