About Rebecca
Rebecca is a compassionate and dedicated Psychologist with a strong focus on supporting individuals who have experienced trauma. She has experience working with a diverse range of clients across the lifespan, assisting them in navigating presentations such as complex trauma, post-traumatic stress, anxiety, depression and significant life transitions.
Rebecca has an extensive background working in a rape crisis centre, where she provided trauma-informed counselling, advocacy and support to individuals impacted by interpersonal violence. This work has deeply informed her understanding of the neurobiological, emotional and relational impacts of trauma, and continues to shape her sensitive, client-centered approach.
Rebecca’s therapeutic style is grounded in empathy, active listening and the creation of a safe, collaborative space. She prioritises emotional safety and pacing, recognising the importance of stabilisation and trust. She is committed to empowering clients to reconnect with their inner strengths, rebuild a sense of control and develop resilience. Using a strengths-based framework, Rebecca supports clients to move towards healing, self-agency and a life aligned with their values.
