She is open-minded and free of judgement, enabling her to understand and appreciate the experience of others.

How Tammy might support you
Tammy works collaboratively with individuals of all ages and stages of life, with the aim to empower each person to maximise their strengths and accept themselves for who they are. She aims to display genuine empathy and is passionate about working with people who feel unheard, misunderstood, mistreated or who experience prejudice.
Her interests lie in supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders, trauma, grief and loss. Tammy can assist with parenting strategies, sexual and gender identity, or those experiencing a variety of life transitions particularly peri-menopausal and/or menopausal women.
With Tammy’s background in elite sport, she has developed an interest in sport-related issues including managing performance anxiety, coping with injury, identity away from sport, and athlete mental health.
Tammy’s calm and relaxed demeanour aims to create a safe environment enabling individuals of all backgrounds to feel supported. She works primarily within the frameworks of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and utilises Motivational Interviewing, Strengths Based and Positive Psychology strategies.
Above all, Tammy is dedicated to understanding each individual’s needs and utilising appropriate psychological approaches to support them in their unique situation.
